Murder overseas

Between 2009 and 2016, President Barack Obama authorized 563 military aircraft and drone strikes in Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen. Between 384 and 803 civilians were killed in these attacks. This figure does not include strikes authorized in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya.

Helped arm extremist rebels in Syria and Libya, who went on to commit horrific human rights violations including slavery, torture, mass murder and rape.

Gave billions of dollars in military aid to Israel, Turkey, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and other human rights violators, despite the fact that these recipients are using it to occupy and repress millions of Palestinians, Kurds, West Papuans and Yemenis and people in other parts of the world.

Helped legitimize the 2009 coup in Honduras in which the military toppled a democratically elected president, and then went on to arrest, torture and terrorize his supporters and other political opponents. Hundreds of Honduran human rights activists have been murdered in 2010 alone.The Obama administration advocated that the regime be allowed re-entry to the Organization of American States (OAS) and provided the Honduran military and police with training and weapons.

In February 2009, Obama signed a 7.8 trillion dollars stimulus package to bail out American banks.

The number of Americans living in poverty under Obama’s administration rose by 3.3 million from 2008 to 2016. In July 2016, more than forty three million Americans were receiving food aid, a number that was 35.6% higher than when he became president in 2019.

The federal debt of the United States of American doubled under President Obama.

Between 2009 and 2016, Obama deported more than 3 million undocumented migrants from the United States of America.
